ABC Live channel negotiation
#1
Anybody heard any update on the big ABC affiliate group negotiations?  No live ABC feed from the Dallas area yet and have heard no news recently.

I'm east of Dallas and on the outskirt of antenna use (30 miles) and unfortunately I have an electric power substation in direct line of the transmission signal  Its been a problem for many years.

Does ABC require that "carriers" pay for the expensive ESPN stream as a condition for carrying ABC?

For whatever reason my DirectTV subscription in Savannah, GA carries Atlanta's ABC station (WSBTV).  (I wasn't looking for it... I get Savannah's ABC affiliate OTA)

As of August 16 WFAA 8 Dallas Ft.. Worth is streaming on PS Vue.
Question for anyone with some knowledge about local independent stations, Dallas 27 is on Vue  and Dallas 21 is on hulu
what is the procedure for independent stations to go live streaming?  Do IND. have to pay for each network they stream through?
